Amazon Web Services holds its AWS KL Summit annually, and every year it gets bigger. For a few consecutive years, we had the opportunity to pull off one of the industry’s biggest events and match up to the standards set by AWS summits in other global locales. This year’s summit threw us extra challenges in the way of security controls and increased number of participants, pushing our team to keep up with AWS’ fast-paced demands.
First impressions count. We set up a 200ft stage and three 50ft split screens in the main ballroom to accommodate the massive number of participants. Attendees enjoyed state-of-the-art AV. Fast and convenient self-registration kiosks dispersed human bottlenecks. We coordinated with AWS’ own security team to minimize the hassle of bag checks and ease the flow of traffic. Adhering to AWS’ stringent guidelines, we worked within local conditions to carry the torch through to the finish line.
The AWS KL Summit brought AWS and customers together for one day. We covered the finer details so that our client could focus on the bigger picture. Attendees were left with a strongly positive experience – 70% of feedback respondents said they were likely to join future summits.
