While setting up their first ever Malaysian office, edotco wanted to start their Malaysian chapter with a bang. ROOTS was selected to lead the office launch since we already have an understanding of the telecommunications industry from experience working with parent company Axiata.
The brief was to launch the new edotco office in Malaysia and officiate edotco’s Malaysian presence to external stakeholders at the Grand Hyatt. The external launch would raise edotco’s profile as the preferred tower builder, so we had to make sure edotco was portrayed in a favourable light to the list of corporate attendees.
The Brand Management team took an integrated approach by providing expertise in the design of the event, execution, invitation management, and creative collateral. edotco’s brand guidelines were adhered closely, making sure their image was instantly recognizable and clearly communicated.
For the internal office launch, a lion dance troop was invited to perform to add a localized and auspicious touch to the office launch.
The external launch featured simple and classic branded collateral echoing edotco’s brand identity. Guests appreciated the creative launch gambit of a LED globe ball displaying edotco wording and a localized shadowgraph of Malaysia’s multicultural setting.
Client and guests were impressed by the setting and decor as well as the detailed menu on offer. The simplicity of edotco’s emerald green corporate branding and circular broadband waves presented a coherent image of edotco.
The external launch left the 140 key stakeholders and 31 companies with a warm first impression of edotco’s brand as a legitimate competitor in tower solutions.
